 Steven's 44 1/2 Rifle built by Mid America Recreation Inc.

Established in 1979, Mid-America Recreation Inc. specializes in the reproduction of Schuetzen Rifles; originally built by Stevens Arms & Tool Co., Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts (1903-1916). Located in Moline, Illinois, Mid-America Recreation Inc. houses two indoor machine shops, a woodworking area, and an engraving station where authentic style Stevens engraving is performed. In house, Mid-America Recreation Inc. produces all components which are interchangeable with the original as manufactured by the Stevens Company.
