Loading Drum Magazine The drum magazine has a capacity of twenty or thirty two rounds. HOLD the drum in the left hand and use one finger inserted down in the cartridge opening of the magazine and move the follower blade to one side, then insert the first cartridge. Next, use two fingers to press the top round down and out of the way of the following rounds.
